VSSA Women On Target Grants

Hold a Women On Target® Clinic at Your Club

Apply for a VSSA Grant (must be a VSSA affiliated club)

Women On Target®is designed to create more hunting and shooting opportunities for women. There are currently about two million American women who hunt and an additional four million who enjoy target shooting. These numbers are steadily increasing.

Fulfilling its mission to "create opportunities, encourage, educate, and mentor women's responsible participation in the recreational shooting and hunting sports," Women On Target® is helping women learn shooting and hunting skills in a safe and supportive women-only atmosphere! In addition to exciting women-only hunts, Women On Target® also sponsors a series of instructional shoots.

For the first time this year, VSSA was awarded money from the NRA Foundation to provide grants to Virginia clubs interested in hosting a Women On Target® clinic.  If your VSSA affiliated club would like apply for a mini-grant to assist with your WOT clinic, contact VSSA.  All levels of experience are welcome in this program.
